Las Vegas, NV... I don't have the same view of Vegas as I used to, and it's because we have family in Vegas. I am very thankful for our family in Vegas. They gave us a place to stay for free and something other than gambling to do. So to our Vegas family Thank You! We will miss you. Hug and kiss our nieces and nephews again for us!
We didn't do a lot of Vegasy (yes I said Vegasy) stuff. Spent 90% of our time with family, which was the reason we came to Vegas. Baby Floyd has now met all of his 1st cousins and loved every minute with them. He was all smiles this week watching his cousins run around and his uncles being goofy and talking with TT and Nana. Floyd (big) was able to spend a lot of quality time with his family, which was much needed.
Now Floyd and I did get to be a little touristy when we went gambling one night with Mom (Rosalind). We found ourselves at the Stratosphere, thanks to my wonderful husband remembering how much I've always wanted to go to the top. Floyd and I went to the top and saw all of Vegas, which is just beautiful. I recommend it to everybody, unless you have a fear of heights and then it's just not a good idea, it's really high.
The Floyds and I had so much fun. Hopefully the next time we come we will take Lil man to see the kid approved sites.
We are heading North now for more family time in Stockton, CA before this journey goes from feeling like a wonderful vacation to an exciting new adventure. Here are a few pictures from this last week:
